Thank-You to all the friends and family of alcoholics.
Hi my name is sharon L. alias Hope3. I just want to thank you for all you do for the alcoholics in your life, weather it is reciprocated or not, hopefully it is.
I am 55 days sober and plan to remain that way, and I have my lover to thank mostly, yeah I'm doing the necessary steps, but if she didn't distance herself and do the things she needed to do for her, I probably wouldn't be on the road to recovery. I probably would have left myself behind a couple of years ago, but she stuck around and I am very thankful for that.
I dedicate this song to all the friends and family out there who are going through their own hell. bless us everyone.

Congratulations on your sobriety. I know it's hard work, but well worth the struggle.

In my view, these are the most profound words of the song. Kindness can move mountains. Hateful words and criticism (directed towards the addicts in our lives) only cause more harm.

I read the friends and family of alcoholics forum to help keep me strong and remind me of the hurt that I do not wish to bring upon myself and my lover ever again. But along the way and reading alot of the post here I felt a love and sadness for all of you........ And I just wish all alcoholics could get it and some how stick to it.........but well........sadly what will be will be.
However, we all have to keep doing what we can to recover ourselves..
So...stay strong ya all and do whats best for you........

Im on my way back to training....however my hearts
not there....I have placed several applications with
a hospital not far from me....Eveything has to be His
Will and not mine in order for anything to work and
be satisfying....I would hope that His will will guide
me into something I will enjoy doing...a rewarding job is
what Id like to have....Id like to make a difference
in someones life....to bring smiles, joy, laughter....
Maybe with children....

The bank isnt like what it use to be.....lots of
computer knowledge.....im struggling with that. : (
Oh well ...positive attitude.... : )
