11 months!!

as of 9 minutes ago i officially am 11 months clean!! that in itself is a miracle. i never in a million years thought i could be 100% clean for 11 consecutive months. just feeling so good right now. had some rough patches but when i got through them i feel more plugged to AA then ever before. it makes me stronger. so grateful right now....just never dreamed life could be this good. talked to several friends tonight, we're so excited for NYE. there is this huge sober party and my entire extended network will be there. a DJ will be spinning House music and i will no doubt get my house-step on for several hours. its been a long time since ive looked so forward to an event, the feeling is incredible. all i want to do is dance to House and on NYE i will get a chance.

merry christmas to me. 11 months sober!!

Oh I'm so proud of you! You are such an inspriration to me and thanks for all the help you have offered. You have been, especially in my first couple of weeks, a blessing. keep on "doing the deal" and have a wonderful New Years.

Congrats chicago!! The cool thing is it gets better every day! Every day of sobriety makes us stronger - I am at three years and have never felt better!
