Looking For A Book---

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good book to read for a parent on dealing with a troubled teen ?

The woman I know was married to an alcoholic so now the aftermath is rearing it’s ugly head.

Her 15 year old daughter has become a handful to say the least.

I did call alanon, they have NOTHING like this and just say go to a meeting. But there must be something out there.

OK, I love Dr. James Dobson's parenting books. They are from a conservative, Chrsitian pov, so they might not be for everyone. No slams, please, that was my disclaimer.

His 'Dare to Disipline' is good, and also 'The Strong Willed Child'. I know in more recent years he has written some teen and gender-specific books. Perhaps you can google him and read some discriptions and reviews on sites like Amazon and Christian Book sellers .

Im reading
