The Fear of Not Knowing
I have been called into a meeting in the morning by the general manager of the company I work at. I wasn't given any context of what the meeting is about so my mind is racing and my anxiety is leading me to expect the worst.
My superiors know about my battles with anxiety and depression. Late last year I had to go home quite a few times due to crying spells and panic attacks.
I could really use a drink...

Hi atheist
Try and remember where that one drink might take you...it's no solution, especially not if you want to make a good impression tomorrow
The bottom line is it may not be a meeting over something negative - it could be positive.
No matter what it is, you worrying is not going to change the outcome. Try and focus on the good things in your life tonight - and all the best for the morning )

I wish you the best and hope this day goes well for you. Worrying is only punishing myself, and while I still do it at times it's taught me to just push on through the day one step at a time. I can be the positive outcome in my day, and I'm responsible for the negative too.
