Sober Sunday get down
Hey everyone
A while ago I wrote about meeting a group of sober girls, a small circle of ladies who choose to live sober and support each other. We have a group chat and have been doing sober meet ups. Last time we did pizza making which wa super fun.
One of the girls is uber organised and put together a Sober Sunday get down, which happened yesterday. It was amazing... We had a dj and a dancer who kept us all moving and learning cool moves. People travelled near and far and we all chatted and mingled and danced together, it was just the best day. There was so much love in the room and the atmosphere was wonderful. Not a single drop of alcohol and we all partied like there was no tomorrow, it was magic.
Being sober doesn't have to be lonely and boring, I spent the first half of my sober time that way, partly due to shyness and nervousness and not enough confidence but Iv learned I had to put myself out there and get involved and it's paying off. Feeling good energy for this week, a weekend well spent and all that.

Yeah it's amazing as it gotten some new friends from further afield who all like to have fun and be sober, it was awesome. Great support network too. Going for kareokoe for the next night out ��.... my singing is dreadful haha.

LOL oh yes when I was drunk I thought I was fabulous HA! Yeah the get togethers are wonderful so nice to hear everyone's story's and get to know new people and have a bunch of laughs.
