Bill W. (2012) Movie
Just got back from seeing "Bill W 2012" the new documentary about Bill's life. Historically it was very accurate. There were interviews with Earnest Kurtz, Mel B and other authors/historians. There were also audio tapes of others who were close to Bill in the early days. All AA members who spoke were in shadows and actors were only used to portray AA in the early days.
It seemed to be well balanced in making Bill out to be a ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances, neither saint nor villain. All in all I would give it 4 out of 5 stars and my only complaint is that it was not longer with more historical facts.

Yes I am also looking forward to the UK release. I did once try to watch the film My Name is Bill W but I couldn't find it anywhere on DVD. It was available to watch online but I just haven't got round to watching it yet.

I watched the movie the other night as well. I had a newcomer with me (4 months) and he said it really helped him fill in some gaps historically. I thought it was very well done and can't wait for DVD release.
