It is important for me to realize that, as an alcoholic, I not
only hurt myself, but also those around me. Making amends to
my family, and to the families of alcoholics still suffering,
will always be important. Understanding the havoc I created
and trying to repair the destruction, will be a lifelong
endeavor. The example of my sobriety may give others hope,
and faith to help themselves.

Boy this hits home with me....I am making ammends every day for the damage done by this disease....I was just out there boozin and loosin....never even gave the consequences a second thought...
Well many were affected by my behavior...All I can do it own my own part today....and stay sober...be honest....serve others....
I hate this family stuff I am goign through right now..it really HURTS without the numb ya know???
Just wanted to pop in to this forum and see whatz up here !
