Happy Birthday Sober Recovery!
Happy Birthday SR!!!
Thanks to Jon for starting this site & to the present owners, The Mulligan Group for keeping it going.
I love this place, the members and all the wonderful recovery that is freely shared here 24/7.
WOW!! That is great!
None of you will ever really know how much this site has helped me. This is where I started my first attempt at recovery. It has been a rocky year or so for me. But this site and everyone here has been vital in where I am today. For that I am forever grateful.
Thank you to everyone who makes it possible.

I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom. ~Author Unknown

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY SR.COM!!!!
My eyes literally filled with tears when I read some of the comments others have made about what SR has meant to them!
To me, it has meant so many things:
A place to find others who are struggling with the same thing--when I thought I was all alone!
A place to meet people who immediately become your friends--men and women you know are destined to be part of your life forever!
A place to laugh your a$$ off, scream your head off, cry your eyes out!
But most importantly, a soft place to land in your friends loving arms when the world out there has been a little too hard!
Thank you SR! To the creators, to the people who maintain peace here, and to my friends: May you be blessed with many more wonderful years!!!!

Happy Birthday SR! :day4
I am so grateful that you are here. You have been instrumental in my recovery over the past year. This site has helped me grow in recovery, learn patience and tolerance, help the newcomer, be of service, and so many, many other things. My life would not be the same without SR having been a part of my life.
Thank you, all of you, from the person who started SR, the Mulligan group, all the way to the people who come here and share their experience, strength, and hope. Each of you make SR a great place to be.

Trish was a soulmate and dear friend, and the first person I lost from SR. Her spirit remains because her spirit WAS the spirit of SR. Trish is also a reminder that the disease of addiction is serious, dead serious, that lives are at stake here. I know that in my darkest time, my SR friends walked through the darkness with me, holding their lights until I could find mine again.
I'm grateful for those who came before me and for some who have since left us...Trish, Jon, Smoke, JT, Debbie, a codie named Ogly and so many more who were significant to my life and recovery.
I'm grateful for those who walk with me today, some who I have met in person and who have become friends for life, some who gave me a kind word exactly when I needed it, and some who have made me smile or laugh until I hurt.
The magic of SR comes from each one of you. I love you all.
Thank you Mulligan Group for keeping this ship afloat and Happy Birthday SoberRecovery. 6

Congratulations and Thanks
8 May cheerful, happy faces be here always. "Thank you SR," and historyteach for inviting me here to participate in the discussions for smoking cessation. Having a circle of support like this is essential to quitting (smoking or probably any addiction). Your help is appreciated. Congratulations to all!
