Withdrawal symptoms

I am currently being weaned off of a prescription that has been causing more problems than it has solved. So interesting to go through withdrawal from this side of recovery.

I am typing while sitting on a towel to soak up the sweat that is pouring from me - changing it every hour or so. Pain, spasms, nausea - the works. Yet, this too shall pass.

Happily surprised to experience acceptance and peace as I walk through this and remember when.

I applaud you courage and resoluteness to get through this and hope some day I can go through the same off suboxone and once and for all leave opiates behind.

Thanks all (and so good to see you again Jennie )

Doc's wanted to increase a particular med to help me fight this disease I've got but my body wouldn't take it...kept overdosing on the amounts needed to provide some relief. So, they put me on steroids. A whole lot of steroids. The idea is that it would help my body take more of the helpful med. Didn't work and he's maxed me out on 240mg of prednisone daily.

First jump was down to 200mg for a week...
