just a question

I know someone who is coming up on their one year clean and sober.

is it call an anniversay or a birthday i have heard it both ways?

Both

Some see it as a birth from the old into a new life.
All would see it as an anniversary of sorts.
Some even call it an anniversary birthday.

I've heard both.
My home group calls it the anniversary.
