F eel Good Music Thread
My great-Grandmother was black Irish. When I was knee high my Grandmother sang this to me. She learned it from her Northern Irish mother. Many years later I discovered the Irish Lady was death. I love this song even more now as it presents death in a joyous tone, not fear.
Good songs! I am lucky enough to have grown up in the very best music era of all times. So many songs from the late 60s and 70s are still being played on classic rock stations. My 27 year old daughter even says that the music of my generation is the best. I tend to agree.
Good minds think alike Suki, I almost posted For What Its Worth last night
One of my favorite artists here:
I heard in an interview early synthpop band Human League considered Stewart one of their strong influences.

Chicago's Tanglewood concert is one of the best out there. These two songs feature Terry Kath. *swoon* Walter on the flute is worth another *swoon.*
Then, hold on to your seats....Make Me Smile! (Need more cowbell?)

And then...the best guitar solo ever (in my opinion). Mr. Terry Kath.

Well, yeah...if you are going to go back to when they didn't yet have their back molars.
Also, I'll point out that the song was by McCartney and Harrison. Any true Harrison fan can hear George in there quite distinctly.

Probably a good note to end on
