Day 3 sucks

Ha! Where has my excitement about quitting drinking gone? I feel super antsy and irritable. And Friday nights were always my hit it hard night. I'm home watching tv. I recognize how I'm feeling, so drinking is not an option. I forgot how crappy the first week is. Gah!

I hope all my fellow newbies are hanging in there! Weekends are gonna suck for a while but it will be worth it. I want to be free of this stranglehold and **** cycle of doom.

Keep pushing through! This is my third weekend and it's so much more relaxed than last weekend. You'll get there!

That's the sucky thing they don't tell you - quitting sucks!!
But seriously, it is worth it even though you have to push through a lot of crap, every day, to get there.
Chifan, join the October quitters.
It sucks but we are doing it one day at a time.

Thanks all for the encouragement. Coming here does the trick. Reading the posts and the reminders beats the little voice telling me to JUST HAVE ONE. If I have one, I want 20.
