Hey all, checked in late to day it is 21.48 in London.
How amazing are all of you!!! Your support is awesome I am a milestoner today and your acknowledgements and recognition means the world.
1 week sober- lost weight, complexion not so red and full of feelings.

I'm in for a Sober Sunday-
So I had a 'ah-hah' moment during my morning bike ride. I like to ride hard and fast for a great cardio workout but my biking partner today was the lingering sort. We sloooowwly rode along and then she was hungry so we stopped for coffee and a pastry and then she window-shopped! I was so impatient that it was hard to enjoy the morning or the 'ride'.
I rarely see her so I finally just took several deep breathes, gave myself a pep talk and allowed myself to go with the flow. My 'ah-hah' moment was that Sobriety is kinda like a long slow bike ride. By taking it one minute, one hour, one day at a time and savoring all the little things along the way, the journey is much less daunting.
And in my case today, much less frustrating-

Stay here, drink lots of water, eat something healthy if you can, drink some herbal tea, take a warm bath, call a trusted friend or family member or just binge on movies.
