Morning Gratitude ~ Part 49
Seashells, Seashells, Not By The Seashore
Grateful for the bitchen Sunrise going on right now. 50 F Degrees here today w/full Sun.
Grateful for the chance to listen to some new Music, thanks to SR Palz over on another Thread. It's Electronica, Veronica.
Grateful for my Sober Brain to have to plot where to go today. Himalayan Lunch Buffet? Something more local? A subsequent stop at the Hardware Store? Hee hee, my kinda 'taxing' decision.
Grateful to recall wanting to post this Pic as a follow-up to the Seabed Uplift Rock Pic of yesterday. I was hiking with the Pooch on endless BLM Public Land all around. Look down. BAM! Seashell Fossil just laying there, partially covered. In Desert_y Western Colorado. The largest Shell imprints are the diameter of a Nickle. One of my Kitchen Windowsill favs.

Grateful for my coffee.
Grateful for the food in my fridge.
Grateful that my gorgeous cat is snuggled in her igloo.
Grateful to sit here and watch the pouring rain, although this is very weird weather in the middle of summer. (It's freezing cold here right now).

Mesaman, your finds are stunning. It really puts our lives in to perspective knowing that we're but a blink in the history of this magnificent universe.
Grateful to be reminded that life is fleeting but so, so precious. Grateful to be happy and sober in order to say "yes" to my life.

Grateful to awaken after 8 hours of slumber and join people just like me dressed in my PJs, and lounging in my puter chair.
Grateful for a climate controlled home without termites or other defects that is more comfortable then any place I could go except heaven.
Grateful for my gorgeous partner who is still in slumberland.

So grateful to wake up and read all these great ports. Grateful for the 24 hours a day, daily reflections, and each day a new beginning, part of my morning ritual. So grateful to be sober. Not to have any drugs or paraphernalia around. Grateful for this wonderful day before me. Grateful to have chosen sobriety, at times the more difficult path. Today I will facing everything head on and sober, and not escaping or checking out. Have a beautiful sober day everybody.
