OT--Robin Thicke

Friends, I think this is off-topic in some ways--but Not Completely.....

Has anyone noticed Robin Thicke's very public campaign to get his wife back?

Every time I see him--I think about SR!! About how some of the spouses beg and do the "I'm sorry" and ask for another chance after the wife (or husband) has had enough of the crap and walked away.

I know he was unfaithful (allegedly), and, I wonder if alcohol and/or drugs had any role. They have been married for 20yrs.---an eternity in the entertainment business.

He has been singing love songs to her all over the media.
I listened to him last night on a talk show, singing. That man just oozes charisma---and the songs are as sexy and romantic as you can get!!!!!!!!!!!

I fully expect to see his wife appear her on SR any day---saying "help me"..."He is singing those love songs, and I am beginning to doubt myself"

LOL, LOL.....LOL

I don't listen to him but I have seen tv folks talk about his campaign to win her back. I think it is gross and she is smart to stay away. To me he is just using his publicly failed relationship to sell records. I see it as more of a pr campaign that he is using to his advantage.

MissFixIt--I challenge you to listen to some of the songs from his just released album.

You might be completely right..I don't know them, so I can't really say...

I CAN SAY THIS: On stage, that man is like....Tom Jones meets Barry White....damn, he is selling some attractive product!!!!!!!!!!! Kind of like when I first heard "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye.......good lord, I almost fell to the floor.

Funny story about Barry White music. 15 years ago for christmas, my sister and I were at my dad's house celebrating with a great aunt and grandfather. sister gave me a barry white dvd (something with very saucy music about sex) and we played it all morning. the old people couldn't hear/understand the words at all and had no idea what was being sung about but hummed along (all christmas morning). it was very funny and sister and I laughed for years about that. FYI, my family is super uptight/prudish.

Overall I like him and his music but think being so public about this is not that cool. It will be interesting how it plays with his fans.

OMG. I have US Weekly delivered in the mail and it might as well be called Dysfunctional Celebrities Weekly. I'd expect to see a Kardashian on here complaining about their failed relationships to addict husbands and their narcissistic, controlling mother.

I agree that Robin Thicke is probably trying to make bad publicity into good publicity, but Paula Patton can do better. She's hot and he probably my has a bevy of STDs. Gross.

I think his campaign -- since it's public and his latest video alludes to suicide -- is creepy and abusive.

^ I agree. It's very manipulative...."see everyone else thinks I'm great and you should take me back" -- to the nth.

just the fact that he was given a career and essentially a hot girlfriend I could care less about him and I wish he would go away.. Marvin Gaye's family sued him for using one of his songs without changing it for his stupid hit song

Mmmmm well back in the day...when I was in college......I had a go with a very famous musician. Still is. Beautiful, sexy, talented, rich, crooned songs and played a guitar and better looking than Robin Thicke.

He sucked in bed. Maybe Mr. Thicke is all talk and hrrrumph, not much else.
