happy B-Day to me..
I'm just feeling a little sorry for myself. Today is my 16th b-day in program. The only thing I really wanted was for my wife to remember. I even rememed her yesterday. She still forget. We spent the day together but nothing. Oh well at least I can feel something.

In my experience, most "normies" just don't get it. My advice is to go hang with your family in recovery to celebrate this day.

i've had anniversaries where i was really looking forward to someone rememberig and nobody did and I was sort of dissapointed.
I've had other ones where I didn;t expect anyone to remember and I was ok with that and the well wishes came out of the woodwork and it blew me away.
16 years is no small achievement, but whats really a mindblower is that we have each day now!

Happy 16th birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just think, 16 years ago today or yesterday, you made one if not the best and biggest decesion. IM TAKING MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!!

I FOUND OUT WHOEVER IS NOT A RECOVERING DRUG ADDICT OR ALCOHOLIC THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT A MIRACLE 1 DAY CLEAN AND SOBER IS.
