A fellow addict is staying the night

and it's a giant step for her. We are going to watch two of my favorite movies, that helped me in so many ways. "Never Get Outta The Boat" that is one of the best rehab movies I've ever seen, and "A Love Song For Bobby Long" that for me, was even more uplifting. Well here's to new beginings and loving someone with all their flaws.....

Michael Keaton's best role ever!

I watched that movie so many times I had to buy a new one cause I wore it out. Days Of Wine And Roses too , how could Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick ever be outdone. I hope no one ever trys a remake.
see you later

I don't think you should give up. It was just a slip and you can learn from this.
Maybe you are not ready to be around other addicts just yet. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, look at how far you've come already. It's not an easy thing to stay sober. I don't know anyone who has done it they're first try, I think it usually takes several. I learn from my mistakes. Hang in there. I am praying for you.

Just another lesson in powerlessness....get back in the solution. Pick your head up and start again.
