I dunno about you but I would travel more than 8 miles to chase a bag. When I showed up in NA they told me I'd stay clean if I chased my recovery just a little harder than I chased my dope.

Welcome Yeahme! This site is definitely a good supplement to my meetings. I am a recovering addict and I find a lot of support at aa meetings as well as na meetings. You would be suprised most alcoholics experience includes drugs as part of their stories too! Good luck! Keep coming back!

Welcome! When I first using this site I figured I would relate only to other heroin/pill addicts, not coke users or alcoholics ..But I was dead wrong -some of the best advice/conversation has come from people of all addictions -I think it's all the same disease.
Same thing with meetings. I just relate to people's struggles and triumphs and I never even know what thier DOC was/is.
