My two sponsors bookends ( I am blessed)
I am grateful for two women in my life who I finally found after years of trouble with sponsorship.
Both these women are my bookends. One speaks direct and feisty, the other is gentle and patient. I need both.
These strong, beautiful, independent, happily married double winner women -married to recovering alcoholics but of course!
(AA and Al-anon) have dedicated years to working steps, taking others through steps, never turning down requests to speak and just being an overall example of how to live the program in all their affairs.
This is crucial for a stubborn, resistant one like myself!
As my son turns 13-which is a huge life transition for me, I want to thank my two sisters in program for being my sponsors and standing by me.
