topamax for bipolar?
Has anyone used topamax for bipolar? I was taking lithium for almost a month which I feel like really did help but I can't deal with the acne it causes and in all honestly I'm scared of it. I'm on lamictal and have read that its a good combination.I quit taking the lithium 3 nights ago and I'm not sure if its the medication or just me but I'm starting to scare myself.

Hello! I'm taking topamax. I'm bipolar but I also am using lamictal and sertraline. The topamax is more so to help counteract my weight gain from the other meds. I'm on a very low dose. 25 mg twice per day. No side effects so far.
