I'm sooooo grateful...
...for the mornings I'm waking up clean and sober.
No dizziness, no tremors, no stumbling onto the floor, no pain in my heart, no vomiting, no burning bloodshot eyes, no panic wondering what I did the night before, no bruises or cuts from falling down the night before, and best of all, no crying my eyes out in hopeless despair.
It's such a beautiful morning, rain or sunshine, when you wake up sober and clear-headed.

Mornings are the best times for me too. In the beginning I felt so happy not to be hungover or deeply ashamed of myself. My job now, further along the track, is not to forget what's in store for me if I drink again.
