Binaural beats

Hey,

I'm just reading about this and it sounds really interesting. I've not slept for 2 straight days and before that I always napped with the tv on rather than real sleep. Well i'm throwing my tv out...it's too depressing and I want to get back to being creative. My diet (when sober) is excellent, raw vegan nothing processed etc so I'd rather not be taking medications so tonight i'm giving this a try. I've had my herbal sleep aid.

What are other's experiences if any?

I found binaural beats did nothing for me, but I'm glad it worked for you!

I listen to binaural beats with music through headphones often when falling asleep. I also listen to yoga and meditation music. It works for me!

I've found the binaural beats useful for both falling asleep and for calming my mind during the day.

Well they didn't work last night for falling asleep, even combined with a sleeping aid
I think maybe i'm still levelling out tho so early after my relapse...i'm not giving up on them.

And I haven't tried them for day time anxiety yet but I'm hopefull....
I'm listening to a lot of meditation music tho instead of the TV

Is that the "digital drug" thing that the news was trying to freak me out about? Saying that kids are now getting high off their iPod, and be on the lookout for paraphenalia like headphones.
