60 days
Today is 60 days for me with no oxy, no hydro, no lying, cheating or scrounging. Physically and mentally I feel great and am so thankful I chose to leave all that behind.
All the withdrawal is gone but in its wake I find myself to be a natural insomniac which I think I knew all my life but chose to pass out instead of sleep. There are times when I am lying awake that I can feel a certain anxiety and think of those posts I have read where xanax or sleeping pills are used. I cannot go that route. If I start that I will not be able to stop and another withdrawal will enter my life. I do fine with the sleeping pattern I have developed and seem to have plenty of energy to carry on normally in my job and life but I have to admit that I feel much better on the days after I finally fall asleep. I have had many suggestions come my way through this site but regretfully none of them work for me.
I say I'm fine with it and then ramble on.
the purpose of this thread is to celebrate making it this far without tripping and falling - again. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way.
