should i tell him im depressed while hes in jail

I don't wanna to make him feel worse than he feels then at the same time, dont wanna sugar coat how I feel. my bro is locked up bc of drugs

((SarahBear)) - I can only tell you my experience. When I was locked up? I got to deal with the reality that I had hurt my loved ones. I heard the bad and how life was going on around me, the world did not stop because I was locked up.

Jail isn't supposed to be a fun place, somewhere that you want to go back to. There are many of us RA's who got dealt with consequences and reality, right from the get-go and I, for one, am grateful no one did the "awww, poor baby is in jail" bit. I got myself in jail, I could learn from it or go back.
