Percoccet withdrawl
I am just a few hours since I took my last dose of percoccet. I have been using it for 5 yrs. I have been taking 8-12 a day..how long should the worst of the withdrawl symptoms last? I am going to do it cold turkey. If anyone has any hints to get through the withdrawls I need all the help I can get.
As someone who has been in your shoes... First thing's first. Go see a Doctor TODAY and let your doctor know what's going on and be 100% honest about what's going on. A Doctor can mean the difference between a 2 week hell ride *OR* a really uncomfortable couple weeks.
W/D is determined by many factors including age, weight, shape, diet, etc.
Without a Doctor's help, you can expect extremely high anxiety, insomnia, chills, yawning, dehydration, trotts, vomiting, etc. It's not fun. Now, W/D for peers WILL NOT kill you but you'll wish you were in the most severe cases.
By going to a doctor, He/She can make decisions based on you and can provide you medications that will lower your W/D symptoms to an acceptable level.
While it will not be a walk in the park, being under the care of a doctor can make the difference between success and failure.
BTW, welcome aboard - you're in good company.

Getcha lots of gatorade because you're going to get quite dehydrated for the first two days. Along with that, get bananas and eggs (easy on the stomach and provides potassium and protein you'll need)_ But again don't be hard headed - if possible go to the doctor!
