2 months off oxy, 11.75 years sober from alc
Hi, I just keep reading threads, but i want to carry the message, you can get off oxy.
1. Ask for help ( boards are great, but please get a sponsor and go to meetings)
2. Don't read the horror stories, many MANY people get sober , they are in AA and NA
3. See a doctor ! most can't get off pain pills by tapering, you have to get honest with a doctor
4. Don't beat yourself up, if you are an addict, it was inevitable to b, e here, a whole new life awaits you
5. Just breath, its one day or one minute at a time
6. If you have the desire to stop, can find a higher power, you will make it
7. Don't keep any pills or dealers around
I'm 2 months off a terrible Roxy /perc addiction , even tried subox . I'm 11.75 years sober from alcohol . Withdrawal sucks, but its not jail or a psych ward , get ambien prescribed to sleep.
