90 days off Oxy
90 days off Oxy
I want to Thank everyone on SR. This site has helped so much. Reading all the struggles everyone is or was going through helped me understand what I am going through, and knowing I'm not alone makes all the difference.
I thought at 90 days everything would just click into place, but recovery is not linear. It is a journey with ups and downs, and learning how to deal with the downs without drugs and appreciate the ups without drugs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Congratulations on your 90 days of sobriety! I pray to be as strong as you have been. Tomorrow will again be day 1 for me. At least I can say it will be the last time I have to say day 1!

Hey there! Congrats!
Its almost Midnight on my 4th day off oxycodone (150 mg/daily) and I can't sleep. Will someone tell me how long I'm going to be getting 4 hours sleep!!!!!!
Also, I've reverted to an infant when it comes to the bathroom. Nuff said.
Oh well, no one should have to take pills to gain meaning from life, AND IM NOT GOING TO!!!!!
10 years off booze and I went and found something just as dumb. Oh well, looking for all the help I can get and will share what I think i know.

Sadly it may be weeks before we begin to sleep again, and even then it seems more like an hallucination rather than sleep. What has worked well for me in the past is getting up and going for a walk in the middle of the night, or listening to soothing music. There are also many OTC sleep aids and even teas that help alot. Hope this was some sort of help for you. I'm going through this with you, and we can do it
