All the crazy kids in the Alcoholism section
I don't know what I'd do without the support I get from there.
It's surreal to know how much my life is being changed by these people, and in such a positive way. I hope I can return the favour.
(of course using the word "kid" in an affectionate way, not a condescending way :X I'm terribad at using the correct Internet tone of voice!)

Don't want to hijack your thread, but just found the site and am grateful for the plethora of supportive people and useful information here. There are no NA/AA meetings in this town and boy do I need help to start living.

Welcome HighHopes and you are not hijacking anyone's site, we are all welcome here. That is one of the things I love about SR they welcome people w/open arms although sometimes it may take a few posts but not usually.
that has got to be a bummer no meetings EEK. I know people on here for various reasons who can't get to f2f meetings and so they get there recovery here. Seems to work great for some of them.
