Congratulations! You have have been a steady and valuable contributor to SR this past year and your stories and input are inspirational.
I knew we were close in dates - my year will be 12/19/11.
I did have to take a few prescribed pain pills post surgery after breaking my ankle last month, but am on the mend and opiate free.
Keep up the good work :day6

Flying should be FUN! Well, bungy jumping anyway....
I thought I would be "back to normal" at month THREE. Ha!
I thought I would stop feeling better every month by month SIX! Yes, ha!
By next year, I should be capable of down and out FLIGHT!
LOOK OUT!
Seriously, though, I STILL feel better every single month, and I've felt pretty damn good for the past 6 months. I felt capable of normal activity at 3 months.
All I can say to anyone who wonders whether going through withdrawal is worth it is that I had no idea what they were doing to me.
All this, and I am OLD. Imagine what a YOUNG addict's person's potential must be after they break free of this crap. Wow.

Good! It's awesome for people like me to hear you still feel significantly better month by month for the past 6 months. I'm at 6 3/4 months and I'm just now starting to feel "good" so I'm really hoping to get even better and eventually feel great.
I like you, failedtaper. You've been a big help to me over the months.
