protracted withdrawal at almost 2 years...wow..
yesterday afternoon, i started to feel really odd.
back in the day when i was taking really high doses of benzos, i'd get the "itch" on my arms alot of us get when we're using. that, and my eye would twitch alot.
yesterday...out of the clear blue after almost 2 years clean, my right eye started to twitch like crazy and i started to get the benzo itch on my arms again.
crazy, right?? i got on the phone with my addiction counselor friend and she told me this can happen off and on for some people well past the 3 year mark.
i called some friends and went out for the evening. i got home and took a long shower and it seemed to subside, but boy did it throw me off yesterday.
i'm so glad i never have to use that garbage again.
