Today I am grateful
Today I am grateful that I have a wonderful husband who has been taking good care of me and helping me with the housework, while I have been recovering from a hysterectomy.
I am grateful that our home is happy and peaceful. I am grateful I no longer live with the fear, confusion, guilt, and sadness I felt every day growing up as an ACOA (lost child role.)
Although it's a lifelong struggle, I am grateful for my on-going recovery from being an ACOA. I can see I have come a long ways since my childhood and I am grateful for that.
I am grateful for my kitties who seem to know that their Mommy just had a surgery and stay near me much of the time without jumping up on me.
I am grateful that I was able to get the surgery I needed, and that my surgeon did a great job for me.
I am grateful for this site and the people who run it.

Today I am Grateful for the Life that I've been blessed with, friends, family, and Chance. I am very GRATEFUL for the new life with my God of my Understanding and for being able to learn more about each of us everyday.
