detox from nortriptyline

I plan to stop using this mediation due to the chronic dry mouth and slurred speech. I take it for sciatica? Any advice on tapering or just stopping at once? Thanks

The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about it. We're not allowed to give out medical advice here. Probably good to inform your doctor of those side effects anyway and let him/her know that the medication is not working for you because of it.

Please see your physician. Any antidepressant should never been tapered off of or discontinued without medical supervision.

Absolutely contact your physician before changing meds. Good luck!
