I am grateful for today. I went selfishly to a meeting to take all I could from it, and was asked to chair the meeting because surprisingly, I had the most sobriety in the room when it started (damn old-timers can't be on time). Because I served, I received more than I could have if I had just kept quiet to myself. It's true, nothing aids sobriety like serving others.
