I made my mother smile. I walked in at 10:35 (only 5 minutes late) as opposed to the usual 2-3 hours. I was well dressed and I had my hair done. She looked so happy.
A complete contrast to last Sunday where I made her cry because I came in to work and got drunk in the back office.
I feel so glad that:
I made in to the gym that morning before I went in to work.
I was on time to help my mum out at her store.
I have a manageable 'get well' job.
I have a boss who has been willing to keep me on inspite of my issues with time.
My boss's dad works in the recovery field so I think he has more sensitivity towards the issue than most people.
By the end of December, I will be back in school
I am able to contribute to my brothers household by buying food.
I can afford to eat healthy. No offence to my SIL but the woman cannot cook. And she makes plain boiled rice for dinner. Every.....single.....day. I'm glad that I have food to eat but it daaaayyyyuuuummmm. If I ever eat rice again it will be too soon.
*******I am glad that I finally feel ready to stop using. Today is the day.
