Please do not take any type of medication unless prescribed to you by a doctor. It can be very dangerous since you have no idea how it will work with your system. A better idea might be to call your doctor and discuss your anxiety with him/her.

I have been reading ALOT about bipolar over the last week.
Over and over again, I read how important it is to protect our health!
Anything that can upset our chemical balances can provoke a period of illness.

Sorry, I have to agree with everyone. Please don't take it! If it is really needed, your doc can prescribe it for you. You don't know what side effects it may have with other medications you are taking. There may even be something that would work better for you than this medication. It can be sooooo dangerous to take medication not prescribed to you!

You probably shouldn't take anything that wasn't prescribed to you.

But to answer the original question, i've been on it before. It just made me tired and a lot calmer. I was on it for anxiety and it was good for full-on panic attacks or times when I was just like "**** it all" and i'd often end up using it just to get myself to go to sleep. Not necessarily good for all situations though.

I have been prescribed benzos also. I am now prescribed Neurontin.
Lorazepam can be very, very addicting.

hmmm..think it is an anti-convulsant.,,supposed to help me with anxiety and has the side effect of being a pain reliever.
If I ask for something extra for anxiety..they offer me Vistaril which doesn't do a damned thing fior me.
