Another day of heck...
Hi all again, how are you. How am I? Heh. I'm feeling fearful and insecure today which I am... it's a terrible feeling really, to be purely honest I wish it would just go away... I wish I felt smart and great like I once did... before I started drinking life was way simpler and easier, way more fun and I thought I was great at what I did. Jeez, everything is just way too overwhelming for me lately, and either irritating or tough for me... I hope this isn't how it's always gonna STAY.
(((Paulos)))
I'm sorry you're feeling so down.
Each day is a new day. Try to do something good for yourself each and every day, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
It can get better. But, we all have to do our parts at helping it get better.
Shalom!

It gets better, with each sober day your confidence will return and build to greater heights as you realize your personal growth. Its not easy to see but its happening
hang in there and keep working at it
hang in there and keep working at it

Hey Paulos;
Firstly, I would like to say that I am terribly sorry that you are having so much trouble. I speak to you on almost a daily basis and know you are struggling. Secondly, the recovery process is hard, and it is harder for some than others. I am sure that if you hang in there, and follow you doctor's advice you will see improvement. Just keep your eye on the ball and don't drink and you are way ahead of the game. Lastly, if you don't think you are ever going to get better that just makes it harder. It can be difficult to see the good when you feel so bad, but the good is there. The feeling better will come, it just takes patience and a litltle work.
I wish all the best for you and hope you are feeling better soon.

hey Paulos!
Just a reminder - I ain't 'yer mama, but I can't let it go unsaid either -
remember to keep your potassium levels up and drink plenty of water when changing meds... a little drug-induced dehydration reminder for ME happened this week - just passing it on, hon!
I got all shaky and light headed myself.
Turned out it might have been side effect of the med.
Drank water, and ate potassium food (oranges)
better now!

I know Buddy: you got to give your Body, and mind, to get use
to the effects, and then for your system to get use to the meads
I know it sucks. soon I'll be seen my psychiatry on may 28, so
I could be evaluated, and star my treatment and I'm just
Hoping, and Praying, that they keep me on Depakote 250, mm lg.
cause the last psychiatry that saw me on 2004,
had prescribe me Depakote, but I left the treatment, and Relapse at the ending of 2004 all the way to my sobriety day which is 1-9-008,
so I had to wait all this time 3 months and counting to get a low
cost clinic and be buck for a schedule, they where going to leave me
for june But thank God that last week my regular Doct
mail me a letter referral to see the psychiatry at the ending of May
so you see Paulos not everything is going to come our way but in do
time if you stick with the plan you will reap it's reward
God Bless you Paulos Buddy I'll be :praying for you Don't quit on me
to the effects, and then for your system to get use to the meads
