I'm sorry you did not have a good experience.
Each individual has different circumstances, so, it's worth looking into. Afterall, what does anyone have to loose, compared to what they have to gain if it works out.
Shalom!

I found it useful when I needed it. The hardest part though is the red tape paperwork that was not only confusing but excessive. I did find worth it for me personally. It does worry me though that someone who is already struggling with a mental health issue would have to try and make it through all that. It can be quite discouraging. Hopefully one day our country will wise up and realize that everyone deserves equal access to health care as well as a way to get it without having to jump through multiple hoops. I sometimes wonder if our healthcare system is more messed up than our disability and social security programs. But thats a completely different topic.
I have several friends who have found it quite useful, and have been successful in getting free meds. Nothing is easy when it comes to meds in my experience.
I actually found the paperwork quite easy on pparx. My doctors were the ones who made it hard.
Thank for posting this Teach.

I helped a family member enroll in this program. The hardest part was finding a doctor who was willing to allow the meds to be sent to the office.
For a total of $30 per month we got a 3 month supply of one med and a 4 month supply for the other. One rx we orderd is sent to the dr and they give a voucher to use at any pharmacy for the other rx.
Just make sure you read the fine print when it comes time to stop the program or they will keep billing the credit card.
I am going to look into accessing the drug companies directly to avoid the $30 fee, but that may prove difficult. Each company has their own policy and regulations vary according to the type of medicine delivered.

Programs like this are a great benefit to those who need them. I am glad that you didn't have a problem with the paperwork, Done.

I live in the mid-east and get my scrips for either 20 for three months or 30 for three months. Go to Rx Outreach Assistance Program for Discount Prescription Drug it's worth a try.
Another option for free or reduced medications.
