There's always someone worse off than yourself..!

Hi everyone, i spend a lot of time just reading threads without actually posting anything & i don't want too sound like a selfish a$$-hole here, but knowing that there are a few people who were/in a worse predicament than myself, gives me a little comfort. It's that old saying "There's always someone worse off than yourself" & if they can do it, than why can't i..?!

Thank you for taking time out to read my post.

Hi Hesh,

LOL I know what you mean.

Actually when I was feeling really down, it helped me a lot to know that others, worse off than me, had gotten out of this mess.

Sometimes we read and learn and take things in and sometimes we share and give. It's always give and take and that's what keeps SR going.

Yeah, there's always the old standby when you're lacking in gratitude.

At least I have use of my legs, and/or I can see.......

Yes there is......

thanks for the topic, it seems I've spent the last couple of days consumed by those who are "better off than me" and I'm not kidding.
