Feeling Miserable Today....
To My Dear Sober & Recovery Family....
It's a cloudy, cold, miserable Sunday, here in Australia & although, my mood isn't as bad as it was, I still feel Depressed......
I feel so alone, as I didn't go out my Mum's today, even though it's Mothers Day today....
I rang Mum, yesterday evening & wished her a happy Mothers Day & gave my present & card to my Aunt, to take out to Mum today....
I didn't want to burden my family with my problems & I didn't want to go to Church today either....
My whole family suffer from Mental Illness & they have problems of their own to deal with.....
I feel like an open-wound at present, losing my temper & snapping at people & things at the drop of a hat....
I've been trying to get some enjoyment out of the Sunday Newspaper & I'm going to continue to read it, to try & get my mind off my problems....
I took my medication last night (Epilim) & my Doctor said to start off on a low dose for the first night, as it may make me sleepy throughout the following day....
Well, the Epilim didn't make me sleepy, & I'm able to function normally today.....

I'm praying for you, Simon. You hang in there and keep the faith - this too shall pass. I really hope the new medication will have you feeling better very soon. We are here to listen and we care about you.

Dear Anxiety Forum Friends,
I just watched a funny movie on DVD & I think I needed a good laugh....
It was called Starsky & Hutch & it starred Ben Stiller & Owen Wilson......
I think I need to lighten up a little & I'm going down to the video store tomorrow to get a bunch of Comedy Movies.....
I like Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey & Chevy Chase...
As they say, laughter is the best medicine....
