Easter - the ultimate proof that perception equals reality. Where else can you get children to eat hard-boiled eggs en-masse, while believing they taste like candy?
Happy Bunny Day everyone. Leigh, got any more chocolate bunnies? Mine are all missing they're heads...

Plenty left, Fitcher!!!!!
Good morning! We are expecting a balmy high of 6 Celsius with overcast skies.
Winnipeg's Vaughan Street Jail, built in 1881, no longer serves it's original purpose. In the basement, still exist the solitary confinement cells where prisoners would be chained to the walls for days, unable to lie down. Many executions were held here and the bodies remain in unmarked graves in a local cemetery.

Evening everyone, Fitcher I hope your back is healing OK, that sounds very uncomfortable.
I must say the built a very elegant prison in Winnipeg.
Apart from being on the opposite towpath this photo is from close to the spot that the one on the right was taken in 1905.
