Seeing clearly
Seeing clearly
For probably about a month now I have been driving around with a dirty windshield. On the inside. It makes driving at night, or directly into the Sun, not only incredibly frustrating. But also very dangerous. My visibility seriously impaired. But for some reason, I kept letting it go.
Then a day or so ago, I had a pretty good scare when driving into the morning Sun. There were people walking all around and I thought someone had walked in front of me, but I couldn't tell. I jammed on the brakes, but no one was there. Finally, I had had enough. I had been driving around half worried long enough. I was at the jumping off point. And I got out the windex and paper towels. Giving myself a completely revitalized driving experience. Visible. Responsible. Enjoyable.
I guess I should not be surprised by this. Since I kept the blinders of addiction on for far longer before I sought to clean up. Giving myself a completely revitalized life. Visible. Responsible. Enjoyable.
