Anyone around the MSP area and know of some good meetings. I need to go and I have been trying but I panic really easily when I'm alone trying to figure out which door to go in and which room to go to. I hadn't gone for the past few weeks and have been drinking again. After a bad night last night I tried to go to a meeting tonight. I got to the first one and didn't see many cars and didn't know which door to go in and panicked and left. After gathering a whole lot of courage i decided to try to go to a different one. My GPS got me lost so by the time I got there I was 20 minutes late. I debated whether I should go in or not but eventually did only to walk into the totally wrong meeting (ACA). I felt like a complete idiot and left that meeting almost in tears. Searched for 15 minutes for the AA meeting in the building and finally gave up and left. I had an emotional breakdown at that point because I feel so alone and I know I needed a meeting and just to talk to SOMEONE about what is going on and despite the insane amount of effort it took to keep trying, I still went home feeling completely alone.
So, moral of the story. Is there anyone in the area who knows of good meetings and could give me a detailed description of where they are and what room to go to so I can find one?
