Hi Fools! Race was great thanks for asking! The Color Run was, well, colorful and I got splattered. It was excellent. And it's actually a gorgeous day here in NYS! :)

Getting ready for our Saturday night evening out and feeling strong. I thought of another tactic - ordering dessert since I never ever ever do that. I would rather have ordered 3 glasses of wine than spend money on dessert. Time to say YES to that dessert menu!!

Day 7 (consecutively). The 24 previous days do count for something, thank you to everyone who pointed that out. :)

About to go to a BBQ with lots of drinking. Bringing my own pack of water. We will be there all day so I'm ready for my AV to have a temper tantrum. :) maybe I'll try laughing at it when it sneaks in to try and make me say yes to a drink. Or maybe that's weird! Oh well, wish me luck!

They decided my mom needed to have surgery today. Wasn't expecting that. Was worried not knowing if this morning was the last time I'd ever speak to her. Dad just called and she made it through. So far so good, thank GOD! I'm still a bit shaken up. It's been a roller coaster.

Sweaty palms was the worst of it.
