:hug: Not Quitting Today Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes, I am getting really down from nagging back and shoulder as I have not been bothered by pain most of my life, so to have this going on constantly is wearing me down, BUT as I am typing this I am thinking I am wearing myself down with my own attitude, this is just something to deal with, so I will just keep dealing with it, glad I have the chance to post here about it today, I have to be positive to keep the "black dog" away Vic So great to see your here on DQ and all over the boards each day Kevin ((())) back at ya, it seems just yesterday you were suffering the heat, now its :abcn: stay warm Denise Love the duck taped, hahaha, perhaps this would be good back therapy too!!!! Yeah, kids are great!! I hang on to the cute things, and try to forget the "I hate you" or "When you leave, I'll eat my waffle wherever I want" :lala ((Ash)) Pain is a tough one to handle. Been trying to get rid of my for a half a year already. Still don't know what is wrong. Oh, well. Gotta keep reminding myself to keep a positive attitude. It sure does wear on ya. I'm going to an aquatic couse this Friday. It's about 4 1/2 hours from home. Thankfully hubby took off work and is driving with me. His parents will be watching the kids. What great support I have!! My Mom's parents stopped be today to see me. Wow, they are wonderful people. No wonder my mom was so great!! I'll check in as soon as I can. Love to all, and No Quitting!! Missy |
Not quitting today or tomorrow....tomorrow I am going to go back to work. It will feel a little weird at first, but that's okay, should be back in the swing in a few hours. I am tempted to tell people when they ask where I have been: Aruba! LOL Today I have everything to be grateful for. I am healthier, mentally, emotionally, physically and have handled some life problems in a way that brings me real peace. There is nothing wrong with me having my feelings, speaking about them, asking them to be respected and having firm boundaries. And yeah, I am getting over that isolation...went out Sun, Mon and Tues. hugs to all! day 17 |

Not quitting Today. Its Sat morning and I slept for 11 hours, must have needed it. Doing housework laundry and chopping wood today. Tobi and Rana love days like this as they get to be with me and run all day too :) Its a 3 day weekend here so I am off to an NA meeting this evening and will spend time with a member who is struggling, then relax and probably paint an do meetings for the rest of the weekend, just perfect. Hope you are all well, I will phone Lee and see how she is, but she sent me a message a few days ago and seemed fine. Kevin :ny9 |
