MantaLady that sounds like a good plan to me :)

Robbie, I probably am making progress with the physio, I can bend my fingers but they won’t straighten. Not sure if it’s tendons or what. They’re straighter than they were though so yes, progressing steadily. Tomorrow It’ll be 5 months since I had the fall. Sometimes seems like much longer.

Five months! Seems like longer than that.

One week to go til my procedure. :) I can hardly wait.

Still have a stomach ache. :(

That is the most important goal of all, so much else that is positive opens up from just not consuming alcohol.

Wednesday evening already, good grief.

Great to see all of you this morning!
Going to leave to visit my mom in about 15 minutes or so. Her papers came. She loves her newspapers.
Wishing you all well. Have a wonderful day. :grouphug:

Only four months since July, Mags :)

Mags1 11-17-2021 09:44 AM

Oh yeah! Thanks Caramel. I can’t count now! :)

Kaily 11-17-2021 10:39 AM

It's a long time Mags, you are being very stoic.

I hope you have achieved your goal Manta.

Just went downstairs to do something and after coming back upstairs, my back and legs and feet hurt so much worse. Any activity makes the pain worse. Can hardly wait til next Wed...

Robbie64 11-17-2021 11:09 AM

least  I know it won't help with stairs, but for general moving around do you have a walker type frame with wheels? I'm wondering if that could help in the short run with mobility for getting about your house or apartment?

Caramel 11-17-2021 11:22 AM

I bet it seems longer, Mags. I hope you can see improvements from month to month.

Willow00 11-17-2021 12:29 PM

Hugs to you Least
And Mags:hug:
And everyone who needs a hug

Manta, we’re all here with you each day, one day at a time is all any of us can do I think. It’s what I aim for every day when I wake up in the morning. Just for today, I won’t drink. And these one days add up without us even realising. And we start feeling better each day  x

saoutchik 11-17-2021 01:07 PM

Take things easy as much as you can Least. Rest is a cure for nerve damage I understand.

least 11-17-2021 01:10 PM

I have a walker and use it downstairs, but can't take it upstairs.

What's bothering me more right now is the terrible stomach ache I have from the side effect of being on norcos for a month. I always feel sick to my stomach anymore. :( I am so tired of always feeling sick. :(

Cityboy 11-17-2021 03:13 PM

Least, so sorry for the discomfort and pain you are having.

Earlier promised fox picture. We have more greys than reds, so it's very rare to see a red. Taken by a friend. Wasn't a good day for the squirrel unfortunately.

Least I had horrible side effects with the prescribed codeine meds I was on. Sometimes the side effects are as bad or worse than what they were prescribed for.

Yes crikey it seems much longer than four months (today actually) that I broke my wrist. I can see it taking a good while more to get it something like. The doc said it may never get full mobility back. That’s ok, I’ve got time and I don’t want to rush it. It’s a lot better than it was.

CityBoy, the fox must run fast, squirrels are pretty nifty little creatures.

Love to all xxxx
