Well done on 20 days HootOwl. A yearning for junk food and sugary food seems to be a
a feature of early recovery. It does dissipate over time.

There is not a lot of greenery where I live Dragon for sure. We owe the existance of that small park to a certain Adolf Hitler and the Luftwaffe who flattened the area in 1940.

It was quiet again this morning although I did spot this little chap sending a peemail.

MidnightBlue 12-29-2018 12:31 AM

Morning, weekenders.

Need to run to boxing.

Later)

Hello weekenders ~ I could definitely use some exercise....MB take me with you to boxing, lol

Coffee o' clock....feeling okay now but the urge comes later this afternoon, and I left wine over at Mom's......just sent her a text asking her to dump it so I'm not tempted if I come over. She'll be more than happy to, I'm sure.....

MidnightBlue 12-29-2018 04:24 AM

Back home.

Didn't feel like doing sparring today but "feel the fear and do it anyway".

It was good.

Sao - Maybe, that's a pee e-mail the Bille had been checking upon?

Hi, Vinny.

Purple - Sure thing. Grab your gloves!

Have a good one, weekenders)

zoeydog 12-29-2018 04:45 AM

Gray morning here in Vermont … hoping for a little sun. On the agenda: Snowshoe with dogs, son for lunch, and a party tonight (I've got my pomegranate-and-seltzer ready to go).

MB, you are so good about exercise. I wish I could find that commitment. A snowshoe is great, but not like a really serious workout at the gym. Maybe a goal for 2019 …

Have a great sober Saturday, weekenders! :bundance

Haha Sao about Adolf Landscapping Inc and on that "peemail" picture :)

Bonjour Vincent! :wavey:

You're getting wiser all the time Purps by sending that AV down the drain!:c011:
MB, are you training to be a boxer? https://www.smiley-lol.com/smiley/sp...y/boxeurs2.gif
We have the same weather you and me Zoeydog since I'm in Montreal...pretty damp!https://www.smiley-lol.com/smiley/sa...ne/ilpleut.gif

Have a good Saturday Weekenders! :grouphug:

Great job!! I’m about to get up and make coffee myself and then get on th exercise bike. Post music! I have a weird collection of music too haha. I’ll go from listening to muddy waters, to 80s ballads, showtunes, Grateful Dead , decemberists.. you never know what will come on my phone.

Peemail is my new favorite word haha.

And thanks! I’m
Planning to get
Some nice fish today and chill out on the junk! Been craving some salmon or
Maybe be haddock.

Good morning friends. Last night was going well and then my husband was watching this weird television show and it triggered a terrible uncomfortable mood for me. I think a lot has to do with my past and I’m looking forward to a therapist appointment I have scheduled for the 8th of January. I don’t know what it is but sometimes I get this horrible “dirty” feeling and I can’t let it go. I want to just curl myself into a ball! Normally I would drink to numb this but that’s not an options I felt bad bc he wanted to help but there’s nothing he can do. And when I get like this I do NOT want to be touched. Ugh. Feeling better this morning. About to make some coffee and exercise. Have to take the car to get new brakes so that’ll be expensive but I’m thankful to be clear minded today.

Purplrks3647 12-29-2018 06:06 AM

Way to be mindful, Hoot! Great job :c014:

I love the "peemail" thing too....has anyone started a hashtag yet? :lmao:

I figured Mom would like my message....she sent a text response with hearts....now I guess that makes me accountable :scared: AV doesn't like that! :vd

biminiblue 12-29-2018 06:09 AM

Is it Spring yet? Oh yeah. Not even January. I can wait. In the meantime I would like it a lot better if the rain would let up.

The zoo/gorillas has been nuts lately...so many screaming little kids and teenage girls. I try to walk away. It's not easy. There is much to be learned from the gorillas - he has a way of quieting them down with a look.

My "look" does nothing to the screaming children.

With all the dough your saving by not drinking, you'll can always get more dough!

Thearpy sounds like a great idea, be kind to yourself. Lots of changes happen in our brains (and bodies) after we quit.

I'm all the way in, will spend new years with my family who know about my issue and have decided to stay in, buy some fireworks and have a booze free new years with me. I am so grateful to have them, and you guys.

SnazzyDresser 12-29-2018 07:59 AM

I hope all you Weekender types had a great Christmas. I was lucky enough to spend a few days back in Missouri with my parents and all the Ozark relatives, even saw my California brother there and met his gay husband for the first time. Anything goes out in California, ya know!

BlueWellies 12-29-2018 08:22 AM
