Oh, when I said struggles in the past, I meant academic ones. She don't know WHY I struggled (the why being my drinking) just you guys do.

Talking of Czechs Prague is a beautiful city full of amazing architecture and culture which begs the question why, when I spent a few days there was I mostly drinking, drunk or hungover.

I think I might well start reading some more books. I am certainly going to be watching less tv, listening to radio or reading social media as it has been announced that we are to have yet another election on June 8th so there will be wall to wall politics for 8 weeks and I am bored with it already.

Noooooooooooooooooooo

I recommend dark days to you. Randy Bly was put in the Prague prison. He goes into great detail about the history of the area. He loved to the beauty of it as well. Not the prison but the surrounding area

I get very lonely at night. At least I have a new TV. I think tinypic has my picture upside down again. Bonus points if you can guess what TV show this is. I had trouble attaching the stand. I must borrow a screwdriver from my dad as it would be handy to have around. I don't want to be a slave to the screen but it is nice to have it on in the background.

I'm pretty broke now. My salary is poor. I cleaned out my desk drawer at work today and found a copy of my terms and conditions. Apparently I'm due an increment at the end of May after being there for one year. I wonder how much? Probably a fiver. I'll have to look for a cheaper place to rent as there were times when I was struggling that I ate beans on toast for dinner a couple of days before pay day. I'll have to either try to rise up the ranks here or look for a new job. Although I don’t hate my current job and I don't have the strength right now for another endless round of interviews. So we will see I suppose.

Cogratulations on passing your end of term semester and filing your taxes BC and i'm sorry you have been in pain.

I knew I would always crave in the evening so I would have a chore or task that needed attending to help keep my mind off things.

I have been going through some work emails this evening, I just notice that one I sent out ends

regards
Sao

It looks like I done forgot my own name.

I sympathize Tetra, the job interview process is indeed grueling. However, in my experience, it tends to be much less stressful in the position that you are in. Namely, when I already had a job, but simply decided I wanted something better, it was much easier than when I had nothing and desperately NEEDED a job --any job-- to get by. Perhaps just keep an eye out and take an interview when and where you can, and don't kill yourself. :c032:

Brenda, housework overwhelms me too. So I pick a few things and do them. If I don't feel like doing more, I don't. It's not like the clean house police are going to show up, It will stay until I get to it.

I know I watch way too much tv but as the weather gets nicer that will become less of an activity. But, but, but, if anyone here hasn't checked it out yet try out the show Stranger Things. Think Stand by Me in Sci fi mode. Loving this show!

Sunshine, a fellow metal chick! My days of headbanging are long past but I can still listen and tilt my head back and forth a little :D . Had the privilege of interviewing Geoff Tate from QueensRyche before all the crap hit the fan. Also got a chance to meet my idol as he was walking the streets of my city after a concert. Rob Halford of Judas Priest. Who, by the way, is a sober individual :) Also interviewed Jeff Loomis and Steve Smythe of Nevermore when they were on the Gigantour. I did a short stint in photojournalism. Rewarding but lots of work.

My bad girl days, loved em but glad they're over.

Maybe you shoukd wait to see what your rise or "increment" is Tetra as May is only a couple of weeks away.

I do not know what the tv programme is.

Sunshine I had a look on Amazon - it got near universal good reviews.

I sneaked it back (I was real quiet). To be honest it was too big for my toolbox.

Start in one corner and don't move to another area until that one corner is complete.

How about an AA meeting? The elephant is still in the room, so why don't you leave it there and take some action to get it out. None of your other problems will be solved until you stop drinking first course.
