Wolfie just keeps on rockin! Well done sir!

Delfin 08-25-2015 11:30 PM

Well, look at you rock n roll! So much progress! I'm thrilled for you, Wolfie. You've been so welcoming and really "listen" to people here. I hope everything you give comes back to you tenfold because you deserve it!

I'm thinking you should consider a career in counseling...just my humble opinion. :-)

Today I talk to my therapist see how that goes

Feeling really down I should be happy I rang a job and looked at college courses

Woke up in bits I still have my plan although I might leave police station as if I have a criminal record itl just depress me further

So il sort out my card renewal & speak to my therapist

I want to go out & walk but the blister on my heel and on top of my big toe hasn't popped and I will only delay things by continuing to walk

I know its going to get better that I know

You are in my prayers, SW.

Having a criminal record is not necessarily a dealbreaker.

I know a guy who had a couple offenses, but had been a solid citizen for a couple years. When the employer asked about it in the interview, he told the truth and explained how he had completely changed his judgment.

The interviewer liked him and admired him and he got the job.

CVs are important--but when it comes down to it, people hire people.

You're a wonderful person, SW. You'd be an asset anyplace!

SW, you are making huge strides! That's bound to be uncomfortable at times and scary and many other things but it is truly living life. Way to go!

Soberwolf you are doing great.

It is completely normal to be scared in this situation. You are showing tremendous strength :)

Soberwolf 08-26-2015 05:19 AM

Had a look at more jobs going to upload my CV to a number of sites got some numbers

Spoke to my sister by text and she said there's a beginners course into working with vulnerable adults which is what my mum done

Mulling it over as if I do a beginners course it could eventually lead to uni

I'm going to ask my sister do they enrol in January & have a chat with her later

Hi Wolf:

You are getting the ball rolling and it's normal to feel uneasy about these changes. That is normal. Remember all the tools you have earned to deal with you panic and anxiety, remember to breath and ride it out.

You are so much more than a record or a CV and this can shine through. Be confident! As I said before, you are a good person and a gentle soul and you have a lot to offer. Do not forget that and this confidence will show.

I am proud of you for these steps you are taking. One step at a time!!!

Cyber hugs!!!

Soberwolf 08-26-2015 06:53 AM

Thank you
