My third day went well. Started with an AA meeting at 7 am. Then I went to my apartment and started packing and taking care of loose ends. I then drove 3 hrs to see my wife for the first time since "the cat was out of the bag" in regards to my binge closet drinking. I was nervous seeing her at first, but she was real supportive and happy to see me. We had a good, open talk about our situation. Dinner was battered fish and spinach sauteed with garlic. The night brought a watching of the most current episode of a Game of Thrones and now off to bed. I am blessed that I am going to fall asleep and not pass out. Night all!

Some times baked chicken with hot sauce is a feast for me.

Thanks for the encouragement, Dee. Yes, I think I got a little too enthusiastic, and the same darn post showed up three times!

Day 4 just starting for me,and as it's Friday that means its PAYDAY..Payday is always a trigger for me to start drinking but today i'll have to keep busy and fight it....Have a good day all........

I ended up getting wasted last night. I always have so much trouble the first few days/week. I will literally have to like lock myself in my house this weekend.

Don't beat yourself up too much. You are remorseful. If you don't pick up another drink you will not feel like you are right now ever again.

I am feeling so good this morning, so absolutely wonderful to wake a with a smile rather than a dirty look on my face. Although, it is only DAY 4, I feel really, really sober!! It must be all the protein and vegetables in my diet. But, I don't want to get ahead of myself too much, I am still an alcoholic, and always will be. I will never be able to just have ONE. Although, my work called me at 7 this morning and asked me to come in at 1pm instead of 9am, I am still forever grateful to be alive. It is gonna be a great, sober day.

Good luck all over the weekend, the weekend was never an excuse for me to drink, I would just drink everyday!!

Wow,i have found it hard going today on Day 4...Today is payday and normally by 12.00pm my fridge is full of shiny beer cans....I am very proud to say that it is 19.55pm now and the only thing my fridge is full of is food....I did have a huge craving around 2 hours ago but i ate some pizza and drank some juice instead.....And now just to ward the cravings off,i am now eating a mars bar....I really hope everyone else in our class are doing ok and let us all have a sober weekend......

Day 1 for me. I can do this.

I think this is day 1, since I got up drinking yesterday morning. :/

So....day 1, I'm alive and sober today. A little anxious, trying to keep busy. This is a wonderful place and am happy to have found it.

Home from work. Feelin pretty crummy. Have a nice headache going. Looking forward to a sober weekend. I've already planned a few things to do to keep busy like organize my closet. I'm sure I'll be on SR a lot too.

Day 5 just starting.Man it feels great waking up on a saturday hangover free....
