Boxing

Was sitting here reading when I heard a huge grunting noise under the house (the house is on stilts) I rushed out to find two huge Kangaroos boxing each other, I chased them off and laughed as the dogs barked at them and begged to be let loose, it seems we all get edgy at times (its mating time here, at least for the roos :()

Hey Done, I finished teh Marathon :) Not a great time as I hurt my leg at 26km and had to stop for 30 mins, but I started again and finished, been resting most of the week am running a short (12km) race tomorrow and if I can raise the moeny will come and run in the LA Marathon.

The roos are funny, they keep coming back under the house, its driving the dogs nuts :)

I keep thinking about the Tom & Jerry cartoons when the baby kangaroo is mistaken for a giant mouse. Nothing like that here in Pennsylavania USA. Post some pics if you can get them!
Thanks!

I used to date a guy from Melbourne named Bob
He told me it was always mating season in Aussie-land
Was he lying to me? Do you know him?

(ducking from Kev)

nogard 10-17-2008 09:08 PM

Where I grew up in Pennsylvania (US east coast) the only thing you had to worry about were groundhogs coming over from cornfield and digging up your garden.

cmc 10-17-2008 09:17 PM

Kev...are you sure they are just boxing under there?
What pick up line did the male roo use?

"Hey babes, you're really hopping...Wanna find true love under Kev's house?" :lmao

nogard 10-17-2008 09:24 PM

cmc maybe its a good sign that sexual things are happening nearby me? Maybe some lovely woman is going to come skipping out of the trees and ....

cmc 10-17-2008 10:05 PM

:dunno I dunno kevo, maybe the future mrs kev is out running a marathon? :c024:

Nothing that exciting happens in England. I just have a hedgehog in my garden and I don't know how they mate - ouch!

That is exciting, at least for girl hedgehogs - boy hedgehogs are covered head to toe in pricks.

Please excuse my crude humour. :(

Well, it's better than a pr1ck being covered in hedgehogs.

/Oh, I going to hell for that one. See you there.

nogard, just realised you said your house was on stilts. That is the coolest thing ever! We need to start building houses like that here in the UK becoz of all our flooding problems! See how deprived we are: no roos, no stilts!
